Hi, You can modify the generated RSS feed as you please by creating your own version of the web / blog RSS code (which if you're using an xwiki.com hosted wiki, is here: http://www.xwiki.com/xwiki/bin/view/XWiki/WebRssCode?xpage=code&language=en / http://www.xwiki.com/xwiki/bin/view/XWiki/BlogRssCode?xpage=code&language=en ). Then change your RSS page to include your modified script instead of the original one. You could replace the content of the second set of <description></description> tags (the ones inside the foreach loop) with something like : #set($contentSummary=$currentdoc.content.substring(0,20)) $xwiki.getXMLEncoded($contentSummary) (untested code) Cheers, Robin On 04/05/06, Adrian Hall <[email protected]> wrote:
I implemented an RSS, but it gives me entries like this:
KB.Questions.Q106 Version 1.1 edited by Xwiki.ahall on <date>
How would one go about generating an RSS that was more useful (say, the following):
Q106: How do I get to the Knowledgebase You can get to the Knowledgebase by bookmarking this link.
(i.e. the first X characters of the actual article)
