I've build my own XAR file to import pages from Oracle Database into Xwiki. The importation is OK but the pages are never indexed by Lucene. Even if I use the administration form and re-buil the index, it doesn't work. If I create a new page directly in my Xwiki, it is indexed without any problem. What's wrong with the importation ? Are you sure the documents are not indexed, or maybe their content is not correctly tokenized.
