No change, still returning zero results. I imported the Solr UI XAR for 5.1 in both the main wiki and the subwiki, then deleted the solr index again and restarted. The Search admin UI shows the re-index happening (starts at ~16K in the queue size and takes 10-15 minutes to drop to zero). After that, still no results. Using Main.SolrSearch also has no results. thanks, aaron On Mon, Aug 19, 2013 at 9:28 AM, Marius Dumitru Florea < [email protected]> wrote:
Maybe the Solr UI is not up to date for some reason.. Can you try to import the Solr UI XAR corresponding to your version
http://maven.xwiki.org/releases/org/xwiki/platform/xwiki-platform-search-sol... ? Also, can you try using directly Main.SolrSearch page? I'm out of ideas..

It started off with a fresh deb install around 6 weeks ago, and it has been upgraded once since then with apt-get.
I tried deleting the Solr index folder and restarting - it did trigger a re-index, but I'm still getting zero results from the search page.

You could try to stop the server, delete the Solr index folder and then restart the server. Solr should automatically start indexing documents after the restart.
Hope this helps, Marius

Is it a fresh 5.1 install or an upgrade?
Thanks, Marius

Hi all,
I'm running XWiki 5.1. When running a search with Solr as the default search engine, I'm getting "no results" for every search on both the main wiki and subwikis. If I switch to Lucene, things seem to work fine.
I've selected "Reindex" and "Add to index" on both the main wiki and the subwiki Search Administration page, and it finds 10K+ objects and gives me a countdown of items left until it reaches zero. Afterwards there is no change in the search results, still nothing found.
I've checked xwiki.cfg and xwiki.properties, and don't see anything. There also appear to be files in the solr index directory.
Am I missing something obvious? I don't have much experience with Solr yet...not sure where to start troubleshooting...
thanks,
