Hi Petr, I`ve noticed you`ve created a jira issue for your requirements, which is good. However, I would still insist that you try and use the process we have set up for sponsoring issues (freedomsponsors.org) to both increase visibility on your issue (otherwise it's just a regular issue that people/devs can easily walk by without noticing it) and also to use a setup that is trustworthy both to you and possible developers wanting to help. I personally would not have much trust in such an offer described in a jira issue as it is now. Regarding Paypal's (~4-5%) and Freedomsponsor's (3%) fees, for the amounts we are considering for individual sponsorship, I consider them to be irrelevant. Plus, they also offer services for those fees, like trust, accountability, reversibility (in case of a dispute), maintenance, etc. Of course, you are free to do whatever you like, I can only try to advise you the best I can and am only trying to start something here for the long run (in case more people follow along). Also, regarding the wishlist you mentioned, your best options would be to go along and create individual issues for each item, as keeping them to yourself brings no benefit :) Good luck and I`m sure you`ll do whatever fits you best. Let me know if there is anything else we can help you with. Hi Petr,
I am glad to see such an offer advertised. I am not sure if you are aware, but we have recently set up a convenient way for people to sponsor development on their specific issues. Have a look at our "Sponsoring issues" [1] or see the introductory mail [2] I`ve sent about it to find out how it works.
Basically, you have to: - Identify an existing issue (or create a new one, like your nuodb case suggests) on our www.jira.org issue tracker, - Press the green link under the "Sponsor This!" section you will be redirected to create an offer on the www.freedomsponsors.org website (make sure you are logged in there as well), - Specify the amount you are willing to sponsor for the development of that issue and finally - Wait for people to show interest.
It probably helps grabbing people's attention with emails like the one you`ve just sent (but after creating a specific offer :) ), or getting on IRC to spear the word, my only request is that you try to use the freedomsponsors.org website so that it's both easier for people to find your offer but also for us to have a clear picture of how well this setup is working; if we should keep trying to use it, or not, etc.
Great initiative and I hope to see many offers in the list [3] (from your and other members of our fine community) and many developers offering their help ;)
Thanks, Eduard

I am a satisfied user XWiki, but I carried on porting XWiki nuodb (jdbc driver exists). If you are a developer, Who is able to do this, please contact me, I can be a sponsor of this small activity (some dollars up to $ 100 for this small task).
After successfull work, the code changes will be published to public xwiki repository for all other users (open source, it's have to request, not private development).
Testing capacity I can deliver for testing portation, license of NuoDB is free for developers (www.nuodb.com). Platform: native linux 64 (Centos)
If you are interested, please contact me.
PS: Some new features and changes of existing I have in long wishlist.... could be long term cooperation. Work off site, no on site needed (You provide changes as source code package of xwiki, we test it in our environment).
