If you set the upload_maxsize too large it's ignored and it falls back on the default. I don't know how big "too large" is, I never checked the mechanism so just try different numbers. Thanks, Caleb On 07/28/2013 04:26 PM, Victor Eberechi wrote:
No luck.
I just set xwiki.store.attachment.versioning=0 and storage.attachment.recyclebin=0 , I still get the message after application restart.
Yes when I upload the smaller files, they appear in the appropriate place on the filesystem. I will appreciate more suggestions thanks.

Just to be sure, here are settings from one of the system: ... environment.permanentDirectory=/home/webapps/xwiki/data xwiki.store.attachment.hint = file xwiki.store.attachment.versioning.hint = file xwiki.store.attachment.recyclebin.hint = file xwiki.store.attachment.versioning=0 storage.attachment.recyclebin=0 ... When smaller file is uploaded, do it appear in appropriate place in data directory? Maybe problem is versioning, which is still stored in database?

That I have done. The value for 'Maximum Upload Size' is 419430400 bytes
but I still get the message to upload a file smaller than 32MB
