[xwiki-users] How to avoid (x) turning into a red X image?

I tried to write f(x) and got f followed by a pretty image of a red x. My guess is that there's a help page showing these replacements and how to avoid them, but I couldn't find it with a quick search. Where should I look? Thanks, Todd
