We upgraded our XEM farm today from 2.3 to 2.4. All upgraded were successful to the main wiki. I can see the new "Template", "Invitation", and "Search" in the Administer UI inside the main Wiki. But I don't see it in any of these inside the sub-xwiki in the farm. Is there a additional process to make it effect to the Wikis in the farm?
The same way you upgraded the main wiki pages you also have to upgrade each wiki pages except that sub wiki generally based on XE xar instead of the XEM xar you used in the main wiki. The only difference between main wiki and other wikis is that the main wiki is well... the main wiki but technically all wikis are exactly the same thing.
