I don't think xwiki is doing anything to disconnect user. I would suggest you look in your container's configuration. Actually we create a cookie that is unlimited in time if I recall correctly. May it be that you prevent cookies on your user machines and thus the container falls back to session id in the URL? Thanks -Vincent
