Hi Juan, As documented here http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/ImportExport you'll need to increase the memory allocated to the JVM running XWiki. How you do this depends on the container you use. For Jetty you edit a line in start_xwiki.bat (or start_xwiki.sh) from JAVA_OPTS=-Xmx300m to something like JAVA_OPTS=-Xmx1024m To start jetty in debug mode you use start_xwiki_debug.bat (or start_xwiki_debug.sh). For Tomcat you set CATALINA_HOME to something like -Xmx1024m. Regards, Catalin On 8/10/07, Juan Manuel Urraburu <[email protected]> wrote:
Hi,
I am just being able to import little files with 9 documents and less than 150kb. The problem is that I have 4mb to import.

Hi Juan,
Could you please check the logs for exceptions, or start xwiki in debug mode. The import feature is a memory pig, so it may be running out of memory.

Hi Catalin,
I opened the war file yesterday and are fine. In fact I copied the war
file
and deleted most of the entries into the xml file and also delete the files and just two files were ther and the Import worked fine, but when I try with the origianl war file, it takes a lot of time to process and finally shows that ther is not document inside.

Hi Juan,
Try opening the xar file by hand (it's just a zip archive) and look whether it contains your documents. Also check that the table of contents is correct.

Hi,
We had a problem yesterday morning with our xWiki. I exported all pages to a xar file, reinstalled xwiki and imported the xar file but after a long time it says:
No documents found in the selected archive
Any ideas?
