btw, we have been running xwiki 1.0 in tomcat 5.5 (runs as a windows service) and it has been very stable for the past 5 months or so. c.f. http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/windows-service-howto.html

XWiki is running in the servlet container you've chosen to use. Check the documentation for that servlet container and you'll find how to run it as a windows service.
