As I've continued to explore this issue, I thought I should update with some more information. It seems that when I attempt to save changes, something DOES happen... the version history increases and it says that I've "Imported from XAR." However, nothing else has changed, and I have no idea why a process that worked for me this morning stopped working in the afternoon.
