You can aslo add the http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Blog/ space to your watchlist to get an email notification when a new article is posted.

Another idea is to use Watchlist in xwiki.org to watch the http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/ReleaseNotes page to get mails for modifications of this page.
