Ludovic, Unfortunately, I don't remember how to change the xWiki security so my site no longer accepts anonymous comments. Seems like every time I change security, I screw something else up. Can you please remind me the appropriate way of doing this? This is also affecting stability and performance. I've had to block access to certain unused wikis that were open to anonymous users and getting more and more spam. We have installed mod_security but it cannot catch everything Currently, I recommend: - closing down anonymous editing and comment - updated the RegisterNewUser page (if it's open) with the addition Captcha of the most recent default wikis (users are asked to answer the 1+1 question) (check a recently created wiki for the code) - create an anonymous account to allow users to comment anonymously and show the credentials in the comments page (changing the template) I'm doing this on my bliki http://www.ludovic.org and using this method I'm not getting any spam at this point. Concerning comment moderation or more advanced captcha or antispam rules, this is more work and we don't have anybody to work on this at this point. Spam is awfull. I can't tell you how mad I am at the cowards doing this. Ludovic Bob Mixon a écrit :
Hello All,
My xWiki is beginning to get a lot of comment spamming; is there a way to force a user to enter some random value displayed in an image, or to send me an e-mail, etc? I would prefer the site to send me an e-mail anytime a new comment is added anywhere; at least this would be a good start.
Anyone have any ideas?
