That would be unreasonable to make your external users type in an IP addressÅ The raw IP is just a gateway to the "REAL" default wiki. From here you can install the Wiki Manager and make setup a "virtual wiki" that simply points to what you want the alias to be. Once the alias is setup, then the xwiki engine knows how to map that URL to the correct wiki instance internally. Please keep in mind I'm not an xwiki developer, I just happened to figure this out last week and thought I'd share some wisdom.
