[xwiki-users] Auto-create users that ldap-authenticate

I would like to use LDAP for authentication. This works fine as long as the user exists in the xwiki database, as well. Is there a way to have a _new_ user authenticate against LDAP and then either have that user's information pulled directly from ldap or have the user data from the LDAP automatically populated into the user database?
