[xwiki-users] excluding blog category from the main page

Is there a way to mark a blog category as excluded from the main aggregation of blog postings on the main page? Should I just edit the SQL in Blog.Macros directly? If so, I'm not sure which table I should be looking at. We have a new blog category that only a small subset of the company cares about.
