[xwiki-users] what are the advanced and simple user types?

I'm a newbie. I searched the web for using this query: xwiki "user type" advanced simple and it didn't turn up anything to help me understand what those user types are. Could someone please clue me in and maybe tell me whether a different search would've turned up anything? Thanks!
