Hello Matt, Try a search on the "xwiki-enterprise-common" packet. It's xwiki alone, without the dependencies of *tomcat-*sql packets. In fact, for example, the packet xwiki-enterprise-tomcat-mysql doesn't feature xwiki, it's a dependency too. After the installation, you'll find the files in /usr/lib/xwiki and the conf in /etc/xwiki/ Regards, -- Guillaume Fenollar XWiki SysAdmin Tel : +33 (0)1.83.62.65.97 2012/1/5 Sergiu Dumitriu <[email protected]>

Many thanks. A follow up query...
I've been trying the packages on a debian 'squeeze' VM, but my eventual installation target is running debian 'lenny' (something which I cannot change). lenny cannot fulfil the dependency on tomcat6 (lenny has only tomcat5.5) for the "xwiki-enterprise-tomcat-**mysql" package that I am trying to install.
Does xwiki need tomcat6 specifically? Would it be possible to also generate a variant debian package for tomcat5.5? Or a package that is just xwiki without any dependency on tomcat or any other servlet container?
XWiki should work on Tomcat 5.5 without any problems. -- Sergiu Dumitriu http://purl.org/net/sergiu/
