Unfortunately this extension is not developed by the XWiki dev team (thus unsupported here), its author is not answering and nobody else seems to know. Now the best is that you debug it and find the solution and fix it/tell us how you did it ;) Thanks -Vincent PS: Just for my information, you did realize that this extension was contributed by an individual and not by the XWiki dev team, right? :) I'm checking whether it's visible enough on each extension page (in this case: http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Font+Awesome+Icon+Macro).
