What I know is by using HTML/CSS. {{html}}<font color=blue>HELLO</font>{{/html}} WORLD!
outputs HELLO WORLD! where HELLO is blue

What is the syntax to change color of a substring in a line?

The XWikiSyntax page documents the xwiki markup available to change text style: (% style="text-align:center;color:blue" %) -- for syntax 2.0
I don't know how to change style for a substring in a line . For example how to color this string red and continue normally? I guess that would be a span element.

Are there any ways to color/highlight text other than using HTML/CSS?
HTML/CSS: {{html}}hello{{/html}}
