If that is the case, can you create a JIRA issue (http://jira.xwiki.org) & attach a sample word document to it? I try to import an Office (word 2003 document) with a "Ç" character (ALT 128). The result into the wiki page is: "Ç". The result is the same in "UTF-8" or in "ISO-8859-1".

Is this due to a configuration issue or a bug?
