It is possible to replace prototype 1.4 with 1.5, but you will have to do it yourself. Normally the upgrade should not cause any problems, but it seems that there is an incompatible change somewhere, as some things stop working. Evelina did the upgrade to 1.6, so maybe she has some tips on what must be done.
