I get this all the time. This has happened to me too. It showed up when I accessed XWiki using a different domain name (I have more than one mapped to the machine). I don't know if that was the root cause though. Hi, In my experience it happens when you set a non default skin and force authentication on all page views. If I understand correctly, the cause is that the login page will attempt to use a stylesheet that is stored in the db... but because authentication is on, you cannot access that stylesheet until you have logged in. Once you login, you are forwarded to the last page you tried (and failed) to access before authentication, which by now is the stylesheet. On my setup I circumvented this by modifying login.vm so that it no loger tries to access the protected skin in the database (see this thread: http://mail-archive.objectweb.org/xwiki-users/2005-12/msg00047.html ). hi, exactly. it's the problem. One other way to fix it is to add anonymous view rights on your skin. Like this you can view the skin when you are not logged in. No, it's not. it's working as expected because a wiki page with a skin object is a normal page. You have to change the right if you want to see it without beeing logged in. xwiki:something is when you use a wiki farm like on xwiki.com. It's going to looking for the document on the main wiki (ie for the farm www.xwiki.com). if you don't use an XWiki farm, you can use XWiki.XWikiAllGroup it's the same.
