Think of the common expression "log entry". A Blog, as earlier stated is a Web Log so, the obvious choice for me would be "blog entry".

To summarize one *posts* *entries* in their blog and entries can be *articles*, polls, bookmarks, etc.
post = the act of adding an entry entry = the blog item being added article = one type of blog entry content
Thus I propose to use "blog entry".
Blogger uses "post". Wordpress uses "blog post". Typepad uses "blog post". Movable type uses "entry". Seems to me that "post" has an edge here... Guillaume
Wordpress lets users write new posts. Thus I'd go for "blog post". "Blog entry" doesn't sound as intuitive to me.
