[xwiki-users] Creating a page with dot on the Title

Hi all, When I create a page in a Space called "MySpace" using Title "a.b.c" , it created a page call "c" under the space "a.b". (a.b: c) Is there anyway I can allow users create document with dot on the Title please? [xwiki-users] Xwiki LDAP Authentication doesn't work when you move a user to a different OU in Active Directory

Hello all, I'm working with the last version of XE and i get the LDAP authentication on my Active Directory Domain. My problem is when i move a user to a different OU in the Active Directory, the user can't login in Xwiki anymore...(Error : Wrong password). Is there a way to configure the xwiki.cfg in order the authentication could "browse" the all Active Directory to find the user and allow him to login ? [xwiki-users] Add a user on a User List property

Dear all, I have a class with a UserList attribute. I am trying to add users to this list from an other page with no success. [xwiki-users] Create document from many template

First of all I want say Hello to all the community. I'm newbie of XWiki and wiki in general; I'm trying to start a enterprise wiki and I choose XWiki after many consideration. To create a clean and organized wiki I want give to the users the possibility of create page starting from some template. Previously, I use PbWiki and this platform offer some template by default, like: - blank template - meeting (to schedule meetings) - press release - project - to do list and so on. I have see the http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/HowToCreateADocumentTemplate LINK that explain that purpose, but what I want to do is offer to the users a choice from a list of templates to start from. Hi all, I'm trying to upgrade XWiki from 1.0 to 1.2. The problem comes when I want to import my .xar file (6Mb) and get a Java Heap Space Out Of Memory Exception. I've checked your admin page http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/Howtoincreasethemaximumattachmentsi… and it looks like for my problem (file < 10Mb), only MySQL should be changed. So I've changed the max_allowed_packet parameter but the problem still occurs. I don't have anything in Tomcat or MySQL logs, which is a bit strange. The only trace I get is the one bellow. It looks like Lucene breaks because of the file upload not working. Any idea ? How could I get more details in the log ? [xwiki-users] Changed upload_maxsize but still can't attach larger than 10 MB

Hello, I've gone to the XWikipreferences, then edit > Class. Here's what is set: name: upload_maxsize Pretty Name: Maximum Upload Size x No Number: 53 Number Type: long Size: 200 Error: XWiki has a default limit of around 10Mb for attached files. This limit can be changed using the upload_maxsize parameter. Check the FAQ for more information. Any ideas?

[xwiki-users] Java Heap Space, Out of memory exception

Hi All I am having a problem uploading a xar file. I get "Java Heap Space, Out of memory exception" (full message below). I've downloaded the latest version of XWiki for windows xp (beginner's version with HSQLDB & Jetty). In my start_xwiki.bat I have set "set JAVA_OPTS=-Xmx1600m -Xms512m". 1.6gb is the maximum as xwiki would not start if I go over this. I don't think I have CATALINA.bat any ware so I din not find where to set CATALINA_OPTS. I have changed file upload size to 133MB by going to http://localhost:8080/xwiki/bin/edit/XWiki/XWikiPreferences?editor=objec t and changing Maximum Upload Size:. The .xar file is 90MB downloaded as backup from http://patternlanguagenetwork.myxwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/WebHome. I do not know what version this runs on since it is on one of the xwiki farm things :-). I have Win XP with 3.5gb memory available. Has anyone had this error recently?
