Hi guys,
I found a code snippet on xwiki.org, that does a TreeNav feature, but
actually, this is not what I want. I would like to have the Treeview,
as on /XWiki/Treeview inside a panel. As a matter of fact, it seems
the code for Treeview does only work, when there is nothing else on
that page, so adding just a line of text in the beginning of the
XWiki/Treeview page seems to make the "+"-signs to open the
tree-structure unusable. Probably for the same reason, I did not
manage yet, to get it inside a panel. Do you have some ideas, what I
could do to get what I want?
Thanx,
Sebastian
Hi,
I'm using workspaces 1.2M1 as a virtual xwiki under xem 1.3. I have
configured the XWikiServerClass object under XWikiServerServername to
have the visibility property set to 'Private'. When I look at
XWikiPreferences in the virtual xwiki, there are XWikiGlobalRights
objects configured Deny, Groups:,Levels:Register,Users:XWikiGuest, and
Deny, Groups:XWikiAllGroup, Levels: edit, register, Users:
The registration form still appears on the login page, and upon
filling in the fields and submitting, registration is successful.
I need to not allow registration by anyone except Admin.
Thanks,
Dan Svoboda
I really love the look and use of the xwiki products, but the lack of
documentation and broken functionality is very frustrating. After finally
getting smtp authorisation working in Enterprize I find the email which is
generated is not forming URLs properly - grrr.
So now I'm back to exploring Workspaces milestone 1.2 and I have found that
setting Public Registration to Allow or Deny makes no difference -
registration is just a matter of supplying a name and email address and
you're in. No admin approval required. This is not acceptable for an admin
setup intended for staff only.
Can anyone explain to me how this might be fixed please?

Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to remove the comments, attachments, history and information tabs from certain pages. Perhaps just by inserting some css or javascript on the pages where I don't want these things to show.
Also, I was hoping to reduce the font size of the "Create New Post" text in the blog (I'm using the toucan skin if that helps). Which file would I look in do to this?
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Josh

Has anyone successfully created a second blog in a single wiki? If so, please give me some guidence on how to do this task. Also, what could be a source of a velocity parsing error while creating a class sheet? Please respond to help progress my research.
Thanks in advance,
Tim
Another question,
we've been trying to change the pdf export layout:
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/Configuration#HCustomiz…
Created the Class, and a new pdf export definition.
Now changing the style works but when we try to change xhtmlxsl or fopxsl
nothing happens.
Is this a know bug or is there somthing one should know ....
Second question:
Is this a way to create a own export definition for another format e.g latex
Thanks
hel.

Yes it's a problem. One thing that can be done is to write/provide a
small velocity/groovy script that scans all wiki pages and replaces
the heading with the wiki syntax.

That will not solve the problem for all page contents which have now
HTML for headings.

I think I'd prefer the script solution since otherwise that'll make
the converter heavier and with some hacks.
WDYT?
Thanks

Hi guys!
I juste read under http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/
HowToCreateNestedPages that nested pages are currently not available.
I really need this functionality for my current project. As sad on
the FAQ this feature should be available soon. Can anyone tell me
when this will happen? If there is already a "working" version of
that feature in the dev trunk, let me know, I could help testing.
