Hi all,
When I create a page in a Space called "MySpace" using Title "a.b.c" , it
created a page call "c" under the space "a.b". (a.b: c)
Is there anyway I can allow users create document with dot on the Title
please? I would expect the document to be called "MySpace: a.b.c"
Many Thanks
Art

What i tried :-inside my tomcat directory i.e tomcat\myxwiki\skins\colibri
, i replaced default log.png with my custom logo(with same name). But it
still picks old logo.
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
I'm trying to install the Extension Repository Application in my wiki,
in order to test importing, updating, and installation of my own
extension (before pushing it to xwiki.org)
I'm on xwiki 4.1.4.
When trying to install the ExRApp from extension manager, it fails to
find a dependency
(xwiki-platform-extension-repository-xwiki-server-api):
>From the install plan logs, the following returns 404:
"GET http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/rest/repository/extensions/org.xwiki.plat…
HTTP/1.1[\r][\n]"
That seems normal since it's not published to the extension repository
on xwiki.org.
After that I suppose it tries the next configured repository (xwiki
nexus) but that also fails:
Could not find extension dependency
[org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-extension-repository-xwiki-server-api-4.1.4]

Surprising, because it's there on http://nexus.xwiki.org ...
Thanks for help,

Side Note: I was a bit surprised to see that updating logback.xml to
have most logs at "debug" level, impacts the install plan displayed by
the extension manager. For example now it dumps all details of
performed http requests, and I'm pretty sure it didn't with untouched
logback.xml. Not sure if I find it nice or not, but I wondered if this
is expected... I suppose it's because extension manager captures part
of the logs.
Hi!
XWiki 3.5.1
I installed manually Space Explorer Panel Application from
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Space+Explorer+Panel+A…
On attempt to make it running I receive Alarm Window with following warning:
"Server returned TRANSPORT_ERROR with no error message."
And "Loading" inside panel still turning.
Any idea how to make it running?
Kind regards,
Dmitry
Hi,
a web crawler keeps deleting documents in our Wiki. Meanwhile we have a robots.txt, but it seems to ignore that.
In the global rights the unregistered user is explicitely denied edit, delete and admin rights. Nowhere are such rights set to allowed. What are we missing?
The deleted documents do not turn up in XWiki/DeletedDocuments. Is there any way to restore the deleted documents?
This is an absolute desaster atm, any hints greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Olaf
Hello all, we've recently launched a new wiki and have been forced to switch
to Database Search because of an odd problem with Lucene. We have multiple
spaces, and when using Lucene, selecting a space from the drop-down list
does NOT return the expected (filtered) results. We still get results from
multiple spaces. Lucene seems to be prioritizing 'weight' over our selection
of a specific space.
We do not have this same problem with Database Search, which filters
correctly every time. Of course, we'd prefer to use Lucene because of the
strong query syntax and weighting.
I have searched forums for days and cannot seem to find someone who has had
the same issue. I feel like it's something simple ... will someone PLEASE
help?
Thank you much!

Dear Friends,
I am working on a xwiki deployment and one particular feature has me
stumped.
The Link Checker module. So I have activated it as per instructions, I am
using xwiki4.2.1. The tab for broken links shows up on the Index application
I have also added a page that shows the Link Checker Index. While the index
count shows 283, no links appear on the broken links tab.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kohinoor
Hi,
I am interested in trying out xwiki concerto but I am unable to download the
installer jar from its website at
http://concerto.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/DownloadAndInstall.
Does anybody know what is the current state of the xwiki concerto project?
I understand that xwiki concerto was a research project that ran until
sometime in 2008 and I am interested in knowing what progress there's been
on it since then (if any). i.e. does the main xwiki project now maybe
include support for replication of xwiki content in a distributed
environment?
Any insight on this would be much appreciated!
Regards,
PM.
I have a strange situation ...
I imported LightBox Macro and started to use it. All is fine, exept small
thing. When lightbox window with my picture shows, at a bottom-right corner
exist label "close" - this label doesn't work. Looks like not a link ...
Strange, because, example on a page XWiki.LightBox working fine. Maybe
problem with different space (my page stay at a another space)? Other labels
(prev, next) works fine in any cases. I can close popup lightbox window by
clicking main page - but for users it is not normal - they see "close" and
started to clicking it - without any result. Maybe anybody can help me.
Thanks beforehand
Eugen
