Hi,
I have an XWiki 7.0.1 instance over here where I want to link to a page on
another Wiki:
Main Wiki
|-- Sub-Wiki "Products"
|-- Space "A Product"
|-- Page "The Page"
I created a new page on "Main Wiki" where I entered the link as follows:
[[Label>>Products:A Product.The Page]]
When I save the link shows up as if the target page doesn't exist, clicking
it opens the create screen. I already double checked the wiki/space/page
names in the link but everything is correct.
Can somebody tell me why the link doesn't lead to the existing page?
Regards,
Dennis
ho sorry, I mean Ctrl+G "Jump to any page in the wiki (Meta+G)"

Hi,
pressing
CTRL+R seems to just reload the page ... starting to type
"product" does lots of fuzzy things ending up in
displaying the page source code.
Well now I feel dumb.

Hi,
Use Ctrl+R and type "Product", select your desired
page and copy/paste exact fullname (from popup window) in
your wikilink [[Your nice page>>exact fullname]] .
Check if your page is not hidden before.

Hi,
thanks for the answers. I prefixed the link
with "doc:" but the problem
persists. The link to the "not existing
page" is:
http://wiki/xwiki/wiki/products/create/A+Product/The+Page?parent=Doku.Page+…
To verify the correctness of
my link I copied the above to the address bar
of my browser and replaced "/create/"
with "/view/" and voila, the page is
shown. So my link is indeed correct which makes
the problem even stranger
...
Any further ideas? Otherwise
it seems I need to hard-link :-[

modèle de page créé au préalable, après avoir coller une image ou insérer
une image, il arrive que par moment voir systématiquement que la phase

I am looking for advice on how to disable macro editor in CKEditor. We want
to upgrade to 1.7 to fix bugs, but not ready to let users explore all
macros.
It would be nice if we can modify the script in CKEditor.EditSheet to
disable it or hide the available macro list.

Hi,
It depend...
First, what are displayed for $ddlProductFamily (your page in view mode)?
{{velocity}}
$ddlProductFamily
{{/velocity}}
Something like ['value1,'value2'] or xwikixxwith random number or $ddlProductFamily ?
If you want display value from any page:
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/DevGuide/APIGuide#HAccessobjectsin…
or if you want display values in your page with your Class object you can use "custom display" when your editing your Class

Hi,
I am currently implementing my first XWiki application and
starting to
learn velocity. There is one thing that makes me mad.
There is a static list field with code "ddlProductFamily".
I try to display the items in this list in a nice way (one
below the other).
Different approaches including googling didn't lead to any
outcome.
#foreach ($prodFam in $ddlProductFamily)
$prodFam\\
#end
#foreach ($prodFam in $doc.display('ddlProductFamily'))
$prodFam\\
#end
On the frontend it's always empty. Other #foreach loops work
fine.
I'm sure I just misunderstand something but I can't find the
fault myself.
Can somebody please help me?
Thanks in advance,
Dennis

Hello everyone,
I have an issue after upgrading several xwikis from 6.2.1 to 7.4.3 I am not able to add new wiki pages in our navigation panel. The old ones are completly working but just the news ones won't add up. I am aware that there was a change between lucene and solr search engine. In additional I am not able to use {{spaceindex/}} for news spaces for listening any childpage anymore. I someone able to explain what I may do wrong or even share there navigation config? I hope I was missing something. I have atteched our navigation config beneath and hope one could point out my mistake. Thank you in advance!

Does anyone know of a way to integrate the meeting app and the mocca calendar
app? Or has anyone attempted to do this in the past? The idea is that, when
a meeting is created, the meeting would be automatically included in the
calendars of the participants. The appropriate updates would need to be made
when the meeting is modified, rescheduled or deleted of course.

Hi.

Wath I made wrong?

server) with OpenJDK 1.8.0_91, Tomcat 8.0.35, MariaDB 5.5.47 and the Oracle

All -
I am trying to use the XWiki REST APIs to create a user in our XWiki system,
but I am not able to give them admin rights.
Background:
I have an empty database (mysql) and I am running an XWiki war inside a
tomcat server. The system starts correctly and creates the database with
default data. No issues at this point. Next I want to create an admin user
with the REST APIs.
What I want to accomplish with REST APIs:
1) Create an admin user using REST API.
2) Login to the XWiki with that admin user.
3) import the XAR file (xwiki-enterprise-ui-mainwiki-all-8.1.xar).
4) Change the admin user back to a normal user using the REST API.
5) Add the user to the XWikiAdminGroup and use those group rights going
forward.
6) Login again as an admin user as part of the XWikiAdminGroup group.
7) Any user can edit their own profile (admin or not). Currently it can
only be edited by admin users.
8) User is assigned the home wiki as a default wiki.
I have two issues at this point. One there is no way to run the REST call
except as a superadmin, because there are no admin users created during the
initial data load (I think that I saw that admin users are not created when
running just the xwiki.war). If I add a new user to the system, the user is
created, but I cannot seem to find a way to make them an admin user so that
I can import an xar file to load the extra setup for the XWiki.
I cannot login to the XWiki as a superadmin, because I have enabled CAS SSO.
REST API to create admin group:
curl -v -u superadmin:system -X PUT -H "Content-type: text/plain"
--data-ascii ' '

REST API to create user:

Hi,
I was looking into a way to modify the border-top color of tables in XWiki
(defined in table.less) such that all basic tables have a solid 1px black
top border (instead of the current solid 1px #ddd definition). I've been
having trouble with finding a proper way to apply the style only to basic
tables. Here are a few approaches I have taken:
*Approach 1.* Override the tables.less file in our own tables_overrides.less
and make all tables have a black 1px border.
*Problem:* This selector is too general, and adds a black border to all
tables on the page (History pane, Format guide, etc)
*Approach 2.* Narrow the selector down to #xwikicontent (only the user’s
content). #xwikicontent .table
*Problem:* Now all tables in the xwikicontent div have borders and nowhere
outside; however, other tables (such as those used by live tables) are also
selected, making the LiveTables look wrong.
*Approach 3.* Modify only the source where the border-color is defined
(because table styles simply use @table-border-color variable to define the
default border-top style
*Problem:* XWiki uses tables throughout (i.e. History pane) and these tables
also use @table-border-color, making their border-top black as well.
*Approach 4.* Create a new table class (i.e. class=“bordered”) so that we
can specifically select tables defined by CKEditor and nothing else. Hook
into CKEditor table dialog and set Stylesheet Classes to “bordered” by
default
*Problem:* Users creating tables via source editor will have no context of
adding borders to their table and their tables will not have proper borders
by default
As of now, there does not seem to be any clear cut way of selecting only the
basic tables (because so many other parts of XWiki use that basic table). I
was wondering if anyone has any insight on a possible solution to this

Hi, I would like a wiki for:
*Description*: Document small things I would like to remember, and might
even help out others
*Owner Name*: Tom Groeneveld
*Wiki Name*: Fantasyworld
Kind regards, Tom.
Hello,
Searching through the web I found the following mailing list thread:
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.wiki.xwiki.user/28977
Which solves my problem exactly, with one minor caveat: the enterprise
XWiki installation I'm using has Velocity macros disabled for average users.
Therefore, what is the equivalent of Velocity's $doc.documentReference in
XWiki syntax (i.e. node id reference).
Best regards.

Hi,
Sorry in advance. I can't imagine that this hasn't been asked before but as
I couldn't find anything I may have used the wrong key words.
Anyway, my problem is: I have created an app with "App within minutes" on
XWiki 7.4.3 and among others defined boolean fields (checkboxes).
I also added them to the application livetable. The table displays, for
example, "Yes" and "No" but filtering is not possible. If I enter "Yes" in
the filter no rows are returned though documents matching this exist.
So how can I filter for checkbox values in an app livetable?
Regs,
Dennis
I just released a new version of the Contrib parent poms which add
support for automatic close and release on Nexus repository.

Having trouble with the RSS Macro. Gives me a failed to execute the RSS macro error. I am trying to display the RSS from a blog post (xwiki blog application).
Any thoughts?

I am referring to the gadget "Page tree" which allows to sort the pages by drag and drop. However, he does not preserve the imposed order (on my wiki).
I would like to be able to sort manually, to give the order I want to my pages (as with "Page tree" but with order preserved).
Is it possible or must I do it by creating my summary manually ?
