Hi
The patch mentioned in the subject has been in Jira since April 2007. What
is the status of this?
I have seen
http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Design/FilteringLDAPauthenticatedUsers
and it looks like everything is ready to be committed, but all that has
been done so far is that the 'fix version' for the Jira issue has been
pushed forward to the upcoming release a couple of times, without any
appearant consideration for inclusion by the XWiki people.
What's missing here? Does this patch get the attention from the Xwiki
developers that I think it deserves? Or is it simply not ready for
committing and needs more testing?
And most importantly: What can I personally do to speed up the inclusion
of this in the XWiki trunk?
Thanks,
Tobias
Hi all,
I was trying to play a bit with the calendar, but I found out that is
almost impossible to modify it from the wiki (actually I was trying to
create a panel that shows just a small calendar).
Did anyone do something similar?

Hi all.
My Panel wizard is not working properly. I tried to drag and drop my panel
items and it could not be done. The item which when I click upon, does not
move with the mouse pointer. It goes elsewhere.
Nobody has answered to my problem yet... How is XWiki going to be popular
unless novices have all their questions answered ? I will start contributing
as soon I gain some expertise but for that I want answers...
If it has been answered before, please say so but I haven't seen it anywhere
else.

Hello,
I have an xwiki and I would like to setup captcha on the login page. In the
xwiki.cfg file I have xwiki.plugin.captcha=1. I was wondering if someone
could point me to some documentation on how to use xwiki's captcha plugin.
Thank you in advance!

Hi.
I have just imported the XAR for personal page RSS feeds. When I subscribe
to a page, the link does not work- I need to just add the port number to the
url after 'localhost'. How do I do that ?
Also what is the difference between following a page and subscribing to it ?

Hi,
working with http://old.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Test/ImportExport I
could make it work a bit, but when select a couple of documents and
press Export, the next output is shown:
$export.setWithVersions(false) $export.setAuthorName($author)
$export.setDescription($description)
$export.setLicence($licence)
$export.setName($packageName) $export.add($itemexp,
$xwiki.parseInt($defaultAction)) $export.add($itemexp,
$xwiki.parseInt($defaultAction)) $export.export()
IMHO it's not interpreting the code generated as a velocity macro and
just outputs the code contained in the page, so :
- did anyone had the same problem, and solved it ??
- cold anyone that make it work on top of 0.9 tell me about any changes
that are needed ??
TIA

Hi.
The panel wizard is supposed to make the job of editing the panel easier
but it is very difficult to drag and drop the panel items where I want them.
The menu item does not travel with the pointer. It is very annoying. Is
there a solution to this ?

Hi,
I am a new XWiki user. Currently, I am setting up the structure of the wiki
(spaces, pages). I want to keep some of the pre-defined spaces, but I would
like to shift them to the end of the list (in the panel). However, so far I
could not find out how to do this. Can somebody help me?
Thanks,
Corinne
Hello
I'm looking for a tool or a macro which shows me the pages
created/modified during
the last week/month/day etc. The velocity code I found on the
Recenty+Modified
page would be fine, if I could filter the SQL by date. How is it to be done?
"where 1=1 and doc.creationDate="2007-10-17" order by doc.creationDate
desc" didn't work.
What is the right syntax?

Suppose I want to display '\\' in the page. But since it is a new line
command in the editor, it will be executed and take the next word to the
next line.
There must be some way to get to display it rather than execute it like the
way slash (\) is used in \' and \" to display the quotation marks ( ' , " )
in C++ for strings.

Hi.
I added a wrong class property into my class and I want to remove it. I
canceled the edit without saving and opened it again but it was still there.
Shouldn't there be a button like the one there is to remove an object ?

Hi,
I have created my own class. In a document, I'm able to create a object
of that class, write and read fields in that object, but I don't know
how to memorize this object in the database: I was looking on the
developer guide on xwiki.org and I found only this page

not complete, unfortunately for me).
Can anyone help me, please?

Hi all,
as anyone can see there's a first attempt to upgrade from v0.9 in
http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/Installation#HUpgradinganXWi…
The problem with this approach is that it just migrates the Java code,
but not the one inside the xwiki pages stored in the database.
In order to construct a strong and complete migration process I need
some help (as usual :-D), mainly :
* what pages/spaces contain code that is considered part of XWiki
distribution ??
* does anyone has success in making the code at
http://old.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Test/ImportExport work on 0.9 ??
* any other places to look at for other pieces of XWiki core that should
be added to the upgrade guide ??
Thx

Hi Richard,
you have simply to edit the CSS properties for the link color.
For the future, when starting a new conversation, don't replay on old
thread. It's just to keep the list more useful for everyone! ;-))
