[xwiki-users] Problems configuring XWiki

Hy, I want to instal manually Xwiki and I use Apache Tomcat 5.5 am MySQL Server 5.1. I created the database that Xwiki needs using the following commands: 1. create database xwikiDB 2. grant all privileges on xwikiDB.* to xwikiUser@localhost identified by 'xwikiPwd' 3. show databases and I have changed the hibernate.cfg.xml file: <property name="connection.url">jdbc:mysqlDB://localhost/xwiki?useServerPrepStmts=false&sessionVariables=sql_mode=''</property> <property name="connection.username">xwikiUser</property> <property name="connection.password">xwikiPwd</property> <property name="connection.driver_class">com.mysql.jdbc.Driver</property> <property name="dialect">org.hibernate.dialect.MySQLDialect</property> <property name="connection.provider_class">com.xpn.xwiki.store.DBCPConnectionProvider</property> <property name="connection.pool_size">2</property> <property name="statement_cache.size">2</property> <mapping resource="xwiki.hbm.xml"/> <mapping resource="feeds.hbm.xml"/> I restarted the server and when I want to view to XWiki HomePage it tells me that I have a server error, that I have an error in my hibernate.cfg.xml file. But I have modified this file as the tutorials say... So, I installed the fully-featured wiki and it works and I looked at the configuration file and it is like I wrote. Hello all, I have a little problem since i switched to 1.8 (still rc2) when i start the server. Folks, I have encountered another problem when trying to finish the installation of xwiki. >From xwiki.log, the top most error is: 22:39:01,281 [http://servername.com/xwiki/bin/view/Main/] [http-8080-Processor25] FATAL tion.ConnectionProviderFactory - Could not instantiate connection provider java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: at java.lang.Class.forName0(Native Method) at java.lang.Class.forName(Class.java:164) at org.hibernate.util.ReflectHelper.classForName(ReflectHelper.java:100) Is this error about the placement of the JDBC driver? I've placed it in /common/lib already. [xwiki-users] InternalError: Can't connect to window server - not enough permissions.

Hello, After fixing the xwiki.log permission error, I have another error upon loading xwiki in Tomcat. The error is: java.lang.InternalError: Can't connect to window server - not enough permissions. I am running on Leopard Server 10.5.6, PostgreSQL and Tomcat 5.5. I believe the tables in PostgreSQL have not been created.... Thanks for the help! [xwiki-users] Problems with Xwiki Enterprise 1.8 on Oracle - get Error number 3001 in 3

Hello! Can anyone help me? I tried to install Xwiki Enterprise 1.8 on Jetty and OracleXE 10.2 (I used Windows). I did all steps according to instalation instruction "Installing the XWiki WAR manually" and instructions about Jetty and Oracle instalation and configuring, EXACTLY as its wrote. All is ok, exept one thing: I found, that one moment is missing in xwiki instructions. When you installing OracleXE, automaticly configuring APEX (web-interface of Oracle XE) with HTTP port 8080 and Jetty (by default) also uses same port. For this reason, I changed port in Oracle. Now Jetty works fine, but when I trying http://localhost:8080/xwiki I receiving the folowing: HTTP ERROR 500 Problem accessing /xwiki/bin/view/Main/. Hi I tried to install XWiki 1.8 (WAR) file on JBoss 4.2.3GA using PostgresSQL 8.3 on a Mac 10.5.6 and Java 1.6. I did not use the JBoss Datasource but just ran with the Hibernate Database configuration by uncommenting the Postgres part and configured it. [xwiki-users] Problem running xwiki 1.8 on Leopard Server

hello I've followed the instructions and installed xwiki 1.8 enterprise. I used Leopard Server 10.5.6, Tomcat 5.5, PostgreSQL 8.3. Tomcat is running on port 8080. PostgreSQL has been running fine for Bugzilla, and xwiki database and xwiki user are created, and I can log into database using the new user ID. JDBC driver is place in the correct location. I didn't set TOMCAT5_SECURITY becos /etc/default directory does not exist. hibernate.cfg.xml and xwiki.cfg are changed according to instructions. Upon typing http://myservername.com:8080/xwiki, the URL becomes http://myservername.com:8080/xwiki/bin/view/Main/ , and the web browser displays a blank page. The page source is empty.
