Hi Lars, I have tried to reproduce your issue, without success. My configuration is as follows: Ubuntu 11.04, Oracle 11g 11.2.0.1.0, OpenJDK 6, Jetty container. I downloaded * the JDBC drivers corresponding to my Oracle version. * XE: 3.5.1 from http://maven.xwiki.org/releases/org/xwiki/enterprise/xwiki-enterprise-jetty… * XE 4.1 Milestone 1 from http://maven.xwiki.org/releases/org/xwiki/enterprise/xwiki-enterprise-jetty… Started 3.5.1, imported the 3.5.1 XAR, stopped 3.5.1 Started 4.1 Milestone 1, waited for the db migration to finish, after imported the 4.1 Milestone1.XAR. No errors Put the Oracle JDBC driver in the lib folder, and modify hibernate.cfg.xml accordingly to point to your 3.5.1 database. Then, configure the downloaded 4.1 Milestone 1 to point to the same database and start your wiki. Check if in this configuration, your database will be properly migrated. I am aware that I am using a totally different build than yours, but I recommend using the same method as me so you can rule out possible Windows and/or Glassfish issues.
