Yes! this is probably what I need. I will have to test. I see it is possible to export
directly from a program, correct? in other words, no user involvment.

Hi Dan,
When you export a page as PDF you have the option to include a "Table of
Contents" ("List headings at the beginning of the PDF document, usually
right after the cover page."). The generated Table of Contents shows the
page numbers (where each section is located). See
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Features/Exports . Is that what
you need?
Hope this helps,
Marius

So I am writing this Quality Manual using XWiki; The
main manual is one

has many headings, and a TOC. There's also a bunch of supporting

The problem is, we sometimes need to hand out hard printed copies of the
manual to source inspectors to take with them. So when I go to print the
manual, I want to include an Index with page numbers like in a book. Is
there a way to do that?
Dan.
