Hi Jeremy,
This is an English speaking mailing list/forum...
To answer your question XWiki is written in java and thus will work on
any OS similarly. Thus the choice of file to download isn't based on
the OS.
Please check the xwiki.org download page to understand what each file
is about. If you still don't understand please let us know exactly
what's not clear so that we can fix it.
