Were you using it? (I have never seen someone use it before so I'm
curious ;))
Yes it's planned to be implemented but it's been pushed back in term
of priority (basically nobody was asking for it).
The syntax is there already it's just the XHTML Renderer which doesn't
support it yet.
You can follow http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XWIKI-3229 and vote
for it if you want it.
