ok we had some rights problems (I was admin so it was
working for
me... ;)). Can you check now?
the sandbox is still affected (produces the same error), other pages (main, blog, doc
index) work well.

Everyone can view playground, whether you're
registered or not.... :)
not with my user... If I'm logged-in on dev.xwiki.org (user
"krokosjablik") and call http://playground.xwiki.org/ the error page
comes: "Error You are not allowed to view this document or perform
this action."
At the top right my user "Roman Friesen" and "Log-out" links are
shown. Then if I perform "Log-out" the playground main page
"http://playground.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/WebHome
" is shown without problems.

Hi Vincent,
1) what about to allow all (also unregistered) users to play with
sandbox and blog?
2) just to show an info message like "You need an extra user for
Playground"?
In every case allow to see the Playground Main for all users, also
for registered on dev/platform/....xwiki.org :)
Everyone can view playground, whether you're registered or not.... :)
