Hello everybody,
after cloning the server again i rerun the procedure (update via apt-get,
remove & install xwiki-enterprise-tomcat6-mysql). Then i dit not merge my
documents in the destribution wizard but replaced them with the new ones.
Now everything works fine.

I'd say, find the page where the {{activity}} macro is used, edit that
document and put the macro on a line by itself, just as the error message
suggests; that should fix it.
No idea why this suddenly pops up with 4.4 and has not been a problem with
4.1
