I have tried the {code:xml} {code} tags with some success but, velocity script still get's interpereted (I have tried documenting in my local wiki that the line #set($showtoolbar = $xwiki.getWebPreferenceAsInt("showtoolbar",1) == 1 was commented out from view.vm but, this line does not seem to get displayed in the wiki at all}.
