Hi Brandon,
I think the page XWiki.RegisterNewUser contains some restricted functions,
so will only work correctly if it was last saved by someone with programming
rights.
On your local wiki, if you are an admin, you will have programming rights by
default. However, for security reasons, programming rights are disabled on
xwiki.com for all but a select few.
It looks like you saved that page at some point, so it's broken.
An
xwiki.com admin will help you out by re-saving the document.
This seems to happen quite a lot.. could/should
xwiki.com prevent editing
certain documents?
Could things be restructured so users can change the layout of the
registration page without breaking the rights (e.g. by somehow including the
restricted bits from another document)?
Regards,
Robin

Hi all,
I've recently added an
xwiki.com xwiki for my company and I'm getting an
error when I try to register users:
Error: An error occured during the registration process
(-1).
Xwiki:
daiwa.xwiki.com
Excluding the "How much" question, I fill in the same data on my offline
Xwiki with no problems.
Also, I managed to successfully register a user before the xwiki.comserver was down
yesterday using same fields (different details) - so at one
time this did work.

This is happening regardless of username/password/etc.
