this is from the page source of the page:
<form action="/xwiki/bin/view/Factory/CustomSearch">
<table>
<tr>
<td>
<input type="text" name="text" value=""
size="30"/>
</td>
<td>
<input type="submit" value="Search"/>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
so it's the same...
</form>

It seems the reply only came to me, so I'm sending it to the list again.
The HTML generated by XWiki is the same one you wrote? I mean, this snippet you sent is
also what your browser gets or is it different?

Hello all:)
Has anyone a problem like this ? this is my form
<table>
<tr>
<td>
<input type="text"
name="text" value="$!request.text" size="20"/>
</td>
<td>
<input type="submit"
value="Search" />
</td>
</tr>
</table>
but in browser the button "search" is not clickable. have no idea why
You must have a form definition somewhere, with the inputs enclosed by it, otherwise the
button won't do anything...
