What version of XWiki Enterprise are you using? My first guess is that
http://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-7565 is causing your problem.

it, it opens the 'Source' editor instead.

WYSIWYG editor works fine.
Is there any special requeriment to use an authentication server with Xwiki?
