I'm also trying to improve the error message you got. Would the following text have
been more useful:
"This macro generates standalone content. As a consequence you need to have 2 new
lines separating your macro from the content before and after it."
?

it definitely cut the page in two, but i am having difficulties to find
out
how to implement content in the first column and
how to go to second
column
