The only checkbox in importer is "clear styles"
I cannot even make document non-attached if i cancel editing.
Nor can i import already attached document without re-uploading it.
So i just imported DOC file into sandbox pages.
Sandbox pages are in XWiki 1.0 (even i disabled this markup in
xwiki.properties)
I imported file - and it got at top of content. Then saw that bold text
still had asterisks around it. I digged in and then i found that pages were
XWiki 1.0 and that raw imported source was double-asterisks highlighted for
XWiki 2 syntax.
If you disabled some syntaxes, make sure you didn't accidentally (or
intentionally) disabled the xwiki/2.0 or xwiki/2.1 syntaxes. If you did
disable them, then a document in a disabled syntax will be in that
syntax, but the Document Information panel will not display it in the
list of possible syntaxes, and thus the first syntax in the list will
appear to be selected, and that is xwiki/1.0.
Since the xwiki/1.0 syntax is not implemented in the new rendering
engine, but as a legacy syntax with its own rendering engine, disabling
it doesn't actually work; it will always be listed in the list of
possible syntaxes unless you modify the Document Information panel and
explicitly remove it.
