It looks like the moving the page into the "recycle bin" caused the problem.
I have not tried to reproduce this, but maybe it helps to switch the recycle bin off
temporarily.
This should be the property "xwiki.recyclebin" in the xwiki.cfg file.
The default is '1'. If you change that to '0' and restart the server,
deleting the page really removes it from the database.
This might avoid the error you are encountering now.
