Hi,
I regularly talk with users who ask about the long URL strings ("what's
this xwiki/bin/view thingie?") and would like to remove them.
I'm +1 to make this easier to do by default.

Is there a reason NOT to bundle Tuckey's
solution with standard XWiki
distribution?
No reason AFAIK. We could bundle it but the question is more: do we want
short URLs by default?
