The upgrade from 5.4.1 to 5.4.2 can raw almost without issues by doing this:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
visit http://localhost:8080/xwiki
let it upgrade
when it halts after updating pages/extensions, revisit
http://localhost:8080/xwiki
click continue and it is done
The upgrade seems to be installed correctly, although I don't know how to
verify it.
