Re: [xwiki-users] Can't log on in Internet Explorer

I have XWiki 1.6.1.13621 installed on Tomcat 6.0.18. I am having some problems logging in when using IE 7. I'm putting in what I know is a valid username and password, but after submitting the login form I am brought back to the login screen. I found a closed issue in Jira that may be the same problem I'm running into (http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XWIKI-2211). I have never had a problem with Firefox or Safari, only IE. Something to add to the mix though is that I was able to login with IE from within the LAN where XWiki is installed using my work laptop. If I try to login with IE on the same laptop, but across the Internet, the login fails. Does anyone have any insight into this problem?
