Note that you can install any extension from the
http://maven.xwiki.org/releases/ repository using "advanced search",
in this case the id is
org.xwiki.contrib.workflow-publication:xwiki-workflow-publication-api
and indicate the version you want.

Actually the real issue is that the dependency on
the api module is
not properly declared in the XAR extension itself.
You can find the released files on
http://maven.xwiki.org/releases/org/xwiki/contrib/workflow-publication/.

Exploring the extensions features in the xwiki.org site I found an interesting extension
that could fit a big necessity in my company, the 'XWiki Publication Workflow
Application'.

I download it by the extension manager in my XEM 5.1 but I could not launch it correctly.
Trying to launch the extension I realized that the API of the plugin is missing. I think
that it is the root cause of the problem. It is available in the github but I don't
know how to compile. Anyone tried this extension successful?
