Hi Vincent,
I called it that way because it has been derived 1:1 from xwiki-
mysql-1.0-beta-1.sql. Maybe there are further db schema changes that
I'm not aware of.
Yes, that's a good idea to place it in the download area once we've
got feedback from other users.
I don't think that it is closely tied to Postgres 8.2. It will very
likely work with all versions of Postgres 8 and perhaps also Postgres 7.

Hi Rudolf,
First, thanks a lot for your help! :-)

Enclosed is xwiki-postgresql-1.0-beta-1.sql ,
the equivalent of
xwiki-mysql-1.0-beta-1.sql (available on the XWiki download area)
for Postgres.
This provides an empty Postgres database as a starting point for
working with XWiki 1.0Beta.
It has been tested with PostgreSQL 8.2.1 and XWiki 1.0B3.
Please test and provide feedback.
That's cool. I can upload it to the download section too but I'd
like firs to know:
1) Why did you call it xwiki-postgresql-1.0-beta-1.sql if it's done
against the 1.0 Beta 3 schema. Shouldn't we call it xwiki-
postgresql-1.0-beta-3.sql?
2) Could someone try it and confirm it works
All that said, I'd prefer if we could find a way to automatically
upgrade a postgresql instance in the
XWikiHibernateBaseStore.updateSchema() method (see my other post of
earlier today on this).
Thanks
-Vincent
