Yes, thanks for the feedback, I also forgot to import the default XAR.
Also I had a problem with tomcat 6.0.29 : I couldn't login with this version. I got
invalid credentials message and this message in the log :

have been tampered with
I moved my xwiki installation to tomcat 6.0.26 and it works fine.
I've seen on google that issue XWIKI-2119 sound like this problem but it's an old
issue. So you should have a look, maybe it's coming back with tomcat 6.0.29 (see bug
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=49598).

This is normal, by default the database is empty, no user is
automatically created. You should have access to the administration
though, just import the default XE XAR.
