AETHER does not take into account default JAVA proxy so I need to find
a way to convert it to AETHER Proxy.

extension repository (nexus/aether or xwiki) ?
I've set it both as http_proxy env variable and in JAVA_OPTS... From
the logs it's clear that it goes through proxy for connections to
xwiki repo, for nexus I don't know.

Now I don't see why you get an error from nexus repository, I
installed the same extension on xwiki.org 1h ago.
